		<description>Hi Noel!  I wasn&#039;t impressed with how the Dow reached 12550, either.  You&#039;re right that the conviction is just not there.  For the most part, stocks were just drifting up.  This is options expiration week, although some people don&#039;t think it matters to stocks, I think it does more often than not.  It&#039;s the reason I rarely trade those Friday&#039;s, especially.

Noted this to Chuck this afternoon. The Dow did hit it&#039;s
resistance level of 12,550. However, it did so on lackluster
volume. According to e-Trade, 10-day average daily volume
for the SPY&#039;s is 251M, volume on Wednesday was 1.81M.
Doesn&#039;t appear to pinpoint much conviction.
