Stock Market Update

Low volume can make it easier to "play" with prices and stops will be taken out with ease. The Dow is up about 115 points, but there is no real broad-based buying excitement going on. Oil is sitting above $117.
MARKET INTERNALS UPDATE AT 12:30PMET
- NYSE volume 340M shares, about 40% below its three-month average; advancers lead decliners by 4.2:1.
- NASDAQ volume 715M shares, about 25% below its three-month average; advancers lead decliners by 1.9:1.
