Pre Market
The SEC has added an additional 30 companies to the short selling ban. I am looking for the official announcement currently so I can’t confirm at this time. Apparently General Motors (GM) has been added to the list of companies that can’t be shorted. Yes, General Motors, the financial capital of the world (sarcasm). Market manipulation continues this morning in earnest.
Gold and Oil up, S&P futures now flat.
