I received the following note regarding SKF, for anyone interested:
Pusuant to Rule 11890(b) NASDAQ, on its own motion, has reviewed and determined to cancel all trades in security UltraShort Financials ProShares (SKF) that were executed on the NASDAQ between 9:33:56 and 11:40et on 9/19/08. This decision cannot be appealed. Marketwatch has coordinated this decision with NYSE-Arca and FINRA. NASDAQ will be cancelling all trades on the paticipant’s behalf. SKF was subject to a regulatory halt on the primary market and no trades should have occured.
The ruling came out late in the day on 9/19/08 and for this reason; any client holding a position in SKF may be incorrect
