General Electric (GE) reported earnings this morning:
GE REPORTS Q3 $0.45 V $0.45E, R $47.23B V $47.34BE; MAINTAINS DIVIDEND
- Reiterates FY08 EPS $1.95-2.10 v $1.99e (from Sept. 25)
- Total backlog $170B, equipment backlog +19%, service backlog +22%
- Q3 Energy Infrastructure Rev $9.77B, +32% y/y
- Q3 Tech Infrastructure Rev $11.45B, +9% y/y
- Q3 GE Capital Finance Rev $17.29B, +2%y/y
- Q3 NBC Universal Rev $5.07B, +35% y/y
- Q3 Industrial Sales Rev $28.9B, +17% y/y
- Company says "We are on track to meet our September 25 revised guidance for the full year"
- Has raised $15B in committed capital, hopes to use these funds to ‘play offense’ in the long term
