California – No Bailout For You!
General Motors sure, banks step right up for your handout, insurance companies help yourself to all you want, California go away – ‘no bailout for you‘.
Odd how it is that the Federal Government will hand out tax payer money to corporations of every size and shape. But when it comes to one of their own states they turn away. I guess California did not contribute enough money to the Obama campaign.
The Washington Post reported Tuesday that the Obama administration has turned back pleas from California for emergency aid. Federal officials are worried that a bailout of California would set off a cascade of demands from other states, the Post said.
What about the cascade of the nations corporations knocking on the door asking for our tax money?
